Attached is a draft budget for the Pere Marquette Rail Trail in Midland County, Michigan. It also includes a list of capital items (e.g. lawnmowers), their cost, and expected lifespan.

The endowment agreement for the Pere Marquette Rail-Trail is attached. This agreement is between Midland County and the Midland Foundation, a community foundation. Press coverage of this fund is also included.

This presentation will give trail managers an outline of the types of maintenance usually performed on a trail in a particular Maintenance Zone. The types of maintenance equipment used on your trail and methods of handling each maintenance situation, will vary. Please use the ideas in this presentation to serve as a guide to develop a trail maintenance program that will fit the needs of your trail.
